Double Eagle BB Gun quality and performace

The M82 is a bit more compact than the M85 and M83 rifles from Double Eagle so the big question is, how does it perform in comparison. In a way it shares some of the main features with the other models and just like the M85 it has a collapsable stock and a transparent magazine with aesthetic bullets to match. This gun also includes a full Tactical Pack, red dot scope, flashlight, aesthetic silencer, strap, goggles, charger unit and a handful of bbs. We particularly like Double Eagles lower grip simply because they are so easy to fit and prove to be very sturdy.

I good means for instantly checking the quality of a bb gun is the weight and as we prized the M82 from the box it was duly noted that this gun is not only heavy but also extremely well made. UK BB Guns are required by law to be easily distinguishable from real guns and the Double Eagle M82 does this through a nice blend of orange and black components. Talking of components we should say how much attention to detail is on this gun, if you are an experienced airsofter you will know how fiddly scopes and lights can be to fit, thankfully there was no such issues with this gun and we had it assembled within a couple of minutes.

Lets face it the first thing you do with any gun is fire it - test the power, we are just as impulsive so we loaded the magazine with 0.28g bbs using the loader bar, switched the gun to semi automatic and let rip. Usually we test all our guns at a rifle range however today the warehouse will do nicely, it's 40 meters long and bbs are ricocheting of the walls quite nicely. In fully automatic mode this gun starts to speak for itself with an incredible rapid firing action, the warehouse is awash with bbs in no time.

To test the guns accuracy further we switch to the variable hop-up system that compensates for different bb weights and puts back spin on the pellets to make them go further under certain conditions and as expected notice that there's a bit more power and increase accuracy under these settings as the warehouse lighting now takes a good pounding.

In summary this is yet another solidly built gun from Double Eagle that look good, performs well and is built to take life's knocks. We recommend that prior to using your gun you should fully charge the batteries before use and that's exactly what we are going to do with our M82 so we're ready for a bit of skirmishing later today.
