The K99 airsoft pistol from KWC - it's finger clicking good!

The K99 is a mid to heavy weight gun constructed of tough ABS plastic with metal components including the magazine which holds 12 BBs. The plastic handgrip provides a comfortable grip for both left and right handed users.

One of the benefits of the K99 is easy accessibility of the magazine release which is mounted in the trigger guard. Performance wise the K99 doesn't disappoint and the 260FPS is an acceptable power level for any intermediate airsoft pistol. Generally guns like the KWC K99 that are made in Taiwan tend to provide a distinct advantage over guns normally produced in China, so expect better components, an excellent build quality and good all round performance.

To be honest we didn't quite know what to expect from the K99 from KWC but after a quick plink it was soon apparent the KWC is as good in looks, performance and build quality as the very reputable HFC models. Straight out of the box the K99 has a noticeable weight to it with a distinct light blue and black finish and comes supplied with approximately 100 BB pellets.

Without delay it's time to get this airsoft pistol loaded and shoot a couple of rounds at our designated targets (the warehouse team). The magazine is reassuringly easy to load, (don't you just hate fiddly magazines - we do!) and cocking is smooth and relatively effortless, before long we are pumping out round after round in the direction of our human targets who are now seeking shelter amongst the racking.

So how did the K99 fair, well we were surprised by the K99's accuracy and range, consistently hitting our targets from up to 35 meters away. Overall the K99 impressed us even though we didn't expect it to and recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, powerful and inexpensive airsoft pistol.
