A BB Gun that's just for fun

Planning a bit of world domination and looking for a great gun to get you started the Double Eagle M40 is the perfect choice. This inexpensive replica of the infamous german Schmeisser gun is a great starter springer that delivers on both price and performance.

Made to Double Eagles high production standards the M40 is delivered in an orange and black finish and constructed from tough ABS plastic. This gun has the option of two barrel lengths, long or snub nose and an extendable wire frame stock. Now lets get some ammo loaded and put it through it's paces.

The magazine holds 30 rounds and refilling is made just that little bit easier with a locking clip on the magazine spring which hold the spring in position during loading. As you would normally expect with a higher grade springer gun the cocking action requires a bit more effort due of the powerful spring but that's a good thing and it's worth the extra effort as we averaged over 40 meters in range with our test model using 0.28g bbs. As with any powerful springer bb gun we are hoping to hear that reassuring thud when a shot is fired and that's exactly what we get with the M40.

In summary the M40 is an ideal gun for plinking or for short arena skirmishing and usually you could expect to pay a lot more for a gun with similar performance.
