Product Description
There are several different bb pellet styles available to use with your bb gun with each rifle and gun unique in that every one has an “best bb pellet” for accuracy and speed. Your desired result will dictate what kind of bb gun pellet you’ll choose to use.
BB pellet weight
Probably the most important factor because it can affect velocity, trajectory, terminal performance and flight stability. Heavier bb gun pellets tend to be more stable in breezy conditions and retain their energy better over longer distances. Heavy airsoft pellets also hit the target with more force. Heavier isn’t always better, it is important to match the weight of the pellet to your bb guns unique characteristics and your desired result.
Accuracy
A convenient and inexpensive way to find which pellet is uniquely perfect for your airgun is to try several different bb pellet weights. There’s a good chance you’ll find a range of pellets to provide a very high level of accuracy depending on your needs.
Velocity
A high bb pellet weight will likely provide your bb gun’s maximum speed.
Specific shooting activities
Some bb's may be better than others. Read on and our guide will help you determine which airsoft gun pellet will be best for your shooting objectives. Shooting for fun or informal practice, an inexpensive, “0.12g pellet” will do. However, choose a quality pellet and this will reduce stoppages. Accurate practice and general plinking, If indoors a lightweight 0.12g pellet will provide you with an inexpensive and accurate pellet. These are very inexpensive to use and the benefit of indoor plinking is that bb pellets can be collected and re-used.
Power pellets
The kinetic energy stored in a fired bb pellet is specifically related to it's mass or density, because heavy bb pellets have a higher density they tend to travel faster through the air with greater accuracy. Consider the 0.28g bb pellets for the best power gains from your bb gun .
Penetrating power and accuracy at long distances
A bb pellet alone does not posses the power to penetrate card or tin, for a bb to penetrate effectively a bb gun with a high FPS and heavy bb pellet is required, again you can't go wrong with 0.28g but look for a high quality polished finish as this ensures higher accuracy.
